Closed for the 2019 Season

For the first time in 142 years, Hotel Kenney will not reopen its doors for the upcoming season. John Duncan, Managing Director, advises that the United Nations World Heritage site is completing repairs, and responding to regulatory pressures, road repair, and general financial considerations. This closure will provide the team an opportunity to evaluate activities and plan for the future

Further construction is also being done on a series of 19th-century locks which will continue to be operated by hand. These investments are extending the life of the Jones Falls Lock station for the enjoyment of future generations.
